ICE Health Systems Release Summary 49.0

We are pleased to announce the release of ICE 49.0.

We are grateful to the members of the Collaboration for Health IT as well as the many private clinicians and staff who have and continue to lead this project with ICE Health Systems. Our goal is to serve the world of healthcare with excellence through a system that is built for the needs of today and tomorrow. This release is the next step in achieving our collective goal.

  • Data Import/Export
    • Additional Provider ID at Insurance Payer Level
    • Individual Address
    • Patient Guarantor
  • Treatment Planning
    • Ability to add additional providers to a procedure based on provider roles.
  • User Interface
    • Style changes have been made to the menus, panels and login page so that the text is easier to read.
    • Theme colours for the menus titles are now customizable from Practice Settings – Practice Information – Practice Branding.
    • An optional “Waves” animation can be applied to the lower portion of the login screen.
    • We anticipate rolling out other UI changes continuously that will improve the overall user experience in ICE.

Improvements

  • Data Import/Export
    • Updates to Document Templates & Documents that address Consents.
  • Scheduling
    • Ability to hide columns on the Schedule Grid when a provider/resource does not have availability or appointments.  Note that if a provider/resource is linked to any Event (of any type), then that column will not be hidden.
      • Schedule Views can now be defined to “Collapse Empty Columns” by default and upon loading that Schedule View every time.
      • Users also have control from the Schedule Grid which overrides the Schedule view setting to “Show hidden columns”.
    • Provider Appointments Panel, Next Visits Panel, Interactive Reporting panels related to Scheduling and the Schedule Grid, now all display the same information and in the same consistent appointment card layout.
      • Included in the appointment card header:
        • Patient Name
        • Appointment date and start time (except for Schedule Grid)
      • Included in the appointment card body:
        • Appointment Type (top left corner)
        • Appointment Duration (top right corner)
        • Clinic
        • Providers/Resources

Fixes

  • Data Import/Export
    • Fixed issues in appointment import when provider/resource roles were set.
  • Documents
    • Fixed issue where Provider name was not displayed in the same manner in both Document and Generated PDF.
